Portable Homeless Shelter #3

After building 2 portable shelters used by Seattle area tent cities, Mike built a 3rd structure in 2004 to significantly update his design and improve flaws from his original design. Still true to the scale-able example of using only salvaged, recycled building materials, Mike raided the garbage piles of construction sites for plenty of raw material & cut ends to build an entirely “new” structure. This one featured dismantle-able wall panels, where the entire structure could come apart with 6 flat panels, laid on top of each other for easy transport. Also, Mike used salvaged vinyl siding to reduce the total weight by more than half. He also added windows.
